I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry. This is my 3rd year of graduate studies. My area of research includes synthesizing complex molecules that has potential application in the biological field, purification and characterization of those molecules as well as study their biological properties. I am currently working as a Teaching assistant alongside pursuing my research work.
Experience
I am very passionate about teaching and have taught high school and AP chemistry during my undergrad. Currently, I work as a teaching assistant at my university and the responsibility includes assisting undergraduate students with their labs as well as help them understand their course material. I have taken graduate-level chemistry courses as a part of my Ph.D. coursework and I am willing to pursue my career in teaching/academia in the future.
